40. Air & sunshine. Sometimes. “I love days like this,” Rets-taom was telling Luna ... “Cloud cover cool ... It brings out Day vision and Night vision at the same time ... Maybe Dream vision, too.” “What about Peripheral vision, Drowsy vision, Glancing vision, Analytical vision, Transcendent vision, X-ray vision, Complicit vision, Exterminating vision, Horn-dog vision, Third-eye vision, Focused vision, Predatory vision, Hypnotic vision, Mickey Mouse vision, Free-floating vision, Deep vision, Preoccupied vision, High-resolution vision, Scanning vision, Laser vision, Peek-a-boo vision, and Lantern vision?” Luna said with a twinkle in her eye. Not to be outdone, or maybe for a tie, Rets-taom added, “... Absorbed vision and Clouded vision.” |

What a difference. “I think lying comes from forgetfulness, a devastating detachment leaning toward psychic irony, and the simple truth that telling a lie is a funny thing to do,” Rets-taom said, adding, “That's the liar's point of view, though on the other side of it, things may not be so funny.” “You mean like being kicked out of the bed?” Luna said. |

43. Whatnot. Finely nuanced. “Yeah, when I hear a lie, I may not be so quick to suss it out,” said Rets-taom, “... and that may mean my reason gets turned topsy-turvy.” “There's no magic in that!" Luna said. “It's just the wrong kind of magic,” Rets-taom replied, “... and I sometimes feel the person who lied to me is attempting to unload all their unhappiness onto me!” “So what's the way out?” Luna asked. “The way out,” Rets-taom said, “is to stay way out in front of it ... to somehow ... see it coming.” |

44. Miscommunication anyway. “Yeah, well, if someone offers you a gift, say of unhappiness, and you don't accept the gift, who does it go to?” Luna asked. “Yeahhh! They get to keep it,” Rets-taom growled. “Can you say that in Spanish?” Luna asked. |

45. Danger. A little healthy. “It's not that complicated,” Luna said. “People lie beause they want affection.” |

46. PRIORITIES. Hold on! “I had the most interesting experience this afternoon,” Rets-taom told Luna, “I had been thinking disparaging thoughts about everyone, and I suddenly felt an almost overwhelming drowsiness, almost to the state of sleep, when suddenly an inner entity seemed to reach up out of nowhere and indicated a particular location near the left-center back of my neck,” “What were you doing?” Luna asked, “besides thinking disparaging thoughts?” “Well, that was what caught my attention,” Rets-taom said, “I was driving, and I didn't think it was such a hot idea to be driving and falling asleep at the same time, so I woke right up to keep from having a wreck and immediately sensed that location in the back of my neck that had been pointed out to me by that inner entity ... and immediately some sort of circuit opened up and shot down into my left arm and simultaneously, another fork of the circuit traveled down into my voice box and instantly quieted my mind!” |
